If you’re looking for a short series of encounters to interrupt a travallogue of which your early paragon adventures are currently in the middle, Web of Chains is probably just the kind of thing you need.  Consisting of just 7 encounters (1 skill challenge, 1 role playing, and 5 tactical), it will let you players make a dent in the experience needed to reach their next level, but won’t acually let them get there unless they were already close to begin with.  Designed for 13th level characters, the adventure pits the characters against a nascent slaver organization (or rather the nascent reorganization of a slave empire) and will let them disrupt its formation if they follow through.

Unlike most adventures, we’ve seen thus far in Dungeon, this one makes exclusive use of WotC‘s pre-published maps and dungeon tiles, an indication to me that the author submitted this as an unsolicited adventure to Dungeon through WotC‘s open submissions process.  I of course, have no way to confirm or deny this, but it does suggest that WotC is serious about publishing user created content.

As a filler adventure, I think this has some great potential and it creates plenty of threads that can be followed up later if you want to tie it into a larger campaign arc down the road.
