I was browsing Chatty’s site at lunch and came across some great new resources. It’s great to see that the community can put out quality products even as WotC continues to flounder in the internet space.

Asmor’s 4e Monster Math Cruncher
I will use this thing a lot. The Monster Math Cruncher will help you build level appropriate monsters with very little mathematical effort. Considering that I am running 4E Iron Kindgoms and the majority of my villains are humans, this should prove very useful. This lets me concentrate on any special powers or flavor I want a creature or NPC to have without worrying overly about the math. It’s great to see that the structure behind 4E lends itself so well to applications like this.

Asmor’s 4e Random Encounter Generator
This one will stretch your noodles a little further. Not sure what to throw at the party next? A few tweaks of the numbers and buttons will give you completely random encounters. I haven’t checked the math yet but it seems pretty accurate. I’ve never been a huge fan of random monsters but it can often be a good spark for creativity when you’re feeling adventure block.

Asmor, I love you. You are saving me so much time. I can now procrastinate even longer when making adventures. Asmor also runs the Encounter-a-Day blog in case you need a little fluff to go with your random encounter.

If any of you know of other great apps, crib sheets, accessories or the like, please send them in. We are compiling a list of the best.
