Welcome to Dragon Avenue! As a member of the site, you are entitled to comment on the site and participate in forum discussions. We have a few rules of conduct that we require members to follow.
- We may modify these rules as necessary in order to maintain a fun and family-friendly place on the web for D&D fans to get together and discuss their hobby.
- No politics or religion. Sorry, but there are plenty of sites on the web where you can discuss these topics. We have found these two topics rarely change people’s opinions and almost always result in flame wars and upset members.
- Be courteous. Insults and name calling will not be tolerated. It is ok to disagree with and debate the opinions of fellow board members, but we expect you to do so in a respectful and courteous manner. You also may not threaten, harrass, bully, or intimidate other board members.
- Keep your comments and forum posts family friendly. Avoid profanity, and do not post inappropriate material. This includes linking to sites that would be inappropriate for children, or that include adware/spyware. Trying to outsmart the profanity filters in order to post inappropriate material will not be tolerated.
- Stay on topic. Post in the appropriate forum.
- No public disputes with moderators. You may not post a public thread to discuss the issue. If a moderator does something you really think is unreasonable, you may PM the moderator to discuss the issue, and it is up to that moderator to decide whether to change their stance. If you feel that a moderator is truly out of line, you may PM the site owner with your complaint. But spamming a moderator with endless arguments and appeals will not be tolerated.
- No inappropriate or offensive screen names. Screen names are subject to modification, or deactivation at our discretion.
- No spamming threads or forums, including repeated “bumping” of your own topics.
- No advertising or promotion of commercial websites or businesses.
- No promotion, glorification, or discussion of participating in any real-world illegal activity.
- You may not spoof or impersonate anyone. You may not falsely claim to be a representative of this site, another site member, a law enforcement officer, or misrepresent yourself in any way. This includes deceptive screen names, or intentionally making misleading posts.
- We expect you to follow the spirit of the code of conduct in addition to the letter. Repeatedly or intentionally skirting the code of conduct will be treated the same as a violation.
- We reserve the right to modify, deactivate any account, or ban anyone at any time and for any reason.
