Stag Party by Andorax

Having a noble patron can be a challenge at times, particularly when common sense gives way to folly. Such is the case on the eve of Duke Roderic Penowen’s wedding night, a night which may well prove to be one long remembered by those PCs unfortunate enough to find themselves involved.

The Duke has decided that for his last night as a “free man”, he will host a particularly unusual and outlandish party. All of the invited guests (all male) will be subject to a magical effect that changes their form into that of an animal of their choice for the duration of the party, to be held in the extensive gardens within his manor. A bit of harmless, albeit bizarre, fun turns dangerous, however, when an uninvited guest makes her presence known at the party.

This entry is very creative!  Using the encounter might be hard as there isn’t a real task or goal for the party.  Wandering around as an animal makes for fun reading, but I’m not sure how it would translate to the gaming table.  The party would be left wondering what to do and the confusion that the succubus brings, while certainly funny, would be tough to translate to fun at the table.

Sorry if I missed this - is it possible for the PCs to end the effect, return to their natural form, and fight the succubus?

The assumption is that the PCs would be stuck (well, unless they had a druid in the group) in these forms to deal with what has to be done.  Remember that unless she wants to blow her cover, she is stuck in doe form as well.
