If you guys get a chance to review this sometime before 4e comes out, could you make sure and answer the question of “is it worth purchasing this adventure if my group already has the 4e core books or is it not worth spending money on quick-start rules?”

I personally will not be able to play 4e until we get the 4e books (due to my upcoming wedding this weekend and other timing issues). As the DM, I am wondering if I should start my campaign from scratch and run a basic Point of Light or Eberron campaign, or if we should start with this module.

My *first glance* through the product didn’t seem to show any rules that we don’t have already (from the ENWorld compilation).  There is some new DM stuff in there, but mostly what you’re getting is the adventure.

I can’t comment on the value until I get a chance to more thoroughly review it and hopefully play it.

The guy that runs our local official game daqy stuff was running people through encounters last weekend.  He sucks as a DM but the players ate up the fights.  I was running a game next to him and he got bored by his third table of people and just started TPK’ing the folks that sat down.  Whattamarooon.
