Yeah...this pretty much rocks really damn hard. If I didn’t suck beluga whale at craft-y stuff, I’d make my own. I’m trying to con Aranan into building me some, but the shipping cost is going to be ate up…
I would get so sued… the artwork isn’t mine… and I have the drawing skills of a toddler. Maybe an artist out there wants to hook up and make a pdf?
I plan on posting a full pdf of all the ones I am designing for my campaign, although it may take a little while… fulltime job, two kids, wife who hates d&d.... you know…
but thanks for the compliment, and if you need a character or monster in particular, let me know, i may be able to sneak it in there… i may just post pagesd as i finish them as well…
i just came back from a home depot washer run… 10 bags of 8 for 10 bucks. not bad.
The only problem with that idea is he’s using copyrighted artwork without permission. He’d either have to get WotC’s permission to use their artwork, commission an artist to create work from him, or create his own for this to be totally legal as a commercial product.
would you guys be interested in things like fire and spider webs for example, in the tokens? fire can spread, and a few tokens for that may be useful.. just a thought…
no, like if there is a fire on the area in the battle map, to drop tokens where the fire is… or spider webs that may entangle pc’s things like that… fire spreads, drop more tokens, webs are destroyed, take ‘em out, that sort of thing…
Well for one thing, you can’t burn away squares of webbing in 4e. It’s a magical web, it’s just there to snag people. I think it sounds like more trouble than it’s worth, especially since the battle tokens will tend to be on top of them.
I wonder if these could be printed on transparent film and actually placed on counters. I might have to give it a shot. I really like the whole idea of using 1 inch cutouts on 1 inch washers.
