Dragon Avenue is always interested in having original works submitted to us by the people that know the game best: you! If you are interested in submitting an original work, please read the guidelines below.
Ownership
Works submitted to Dragon Avenue will remain the nonexclusive copyright of the original author. By submitting your original work here, you are granting Dragon Avenue and it’s owners permission to publish the works online for an indefinite period of time.
Exception: On occasion, Dragon Avenue may provide a product for you to review. In such cases you agree to give us exclusive and unrestricted publishing rights of the review indefinitely.
Requirements
All submissions will be reviewed for the following requirements. If you do not meet one or more of these requirements you may be asked to correct your submission before resubmitting. Not all submissions will be posted. Final decision is left up to the LoreMasters as to how well the works meet the following criteria.
1) Works must be original and related to Dungeons and Dragons, d20 gaming, or role playing in general. On occasion, we may accept a submission that may be of interest to gamers but isn’t necessarily related to gaming. We file these items under “geek stuff”.
2) Works cannot include copyrighted materials. For example, you cannot use images, maps, or text created by another person within your own submission.
3) Works must be made by the author directly. We cannot accept submissions posted on the behalf of anyone else.
4) Works must be appropriate for general audiences and gamers of all ages.
5) Works must use proper english and be free of grammar and spelling mistakes. In general, your submission work should show quality and considerable effort.
6) In general, we prefer that members have a photo in their member profile that will appear next to their works on the site. While this is optional, it is heavily encouraged.
If you aren’t sure if your work will meet these requirements, try posting it in an appropriate forum (not this one) for feedback from the community.
News Scoops
All news submissions must include a link to at least one official source. News items will be reviewed and posted to the front page by one of the LoreMasters. You will be given full credit for your scoop. When posting, please use “News: <your news title>” in the post title.
Attention publishers: you may announce your new products here, but only once per product. Do not spam this forum with your product announcements.
If you would like to submit news items on a regular basis (at least twice per week), send a private message to Jim Goings for details on becoming a Town Crier.

Articles should be attached to the post in the forum of a Word document (.doc), Text file (.txt), Rich Text (.rtf), or an unprotected Acrobat document (.pdf). You may alternately just copy and paste the document into the post itself. All articles must include a title. When posting, please use “Article: <your article title>” in the post title.
Product Reviews
Reviews should be on a new or recent gaming product. If the product isn’t a book (such as a mini, models, dice, gaming mattes, etc) then be sure to include photos.
