4th & Dragon : Dungeons and Dragons...and stuff

Ok andrewk, sounds good.  Just wanted to be sure.  And I understand if we don’t get everything off of our wish lists.  Wouldn’t make sense if you just found everything you wanted as you went along if it wasn’t appropriate loot from wherever you are or whomever your fighting.

I saw your thread on the WotC forums and just signed up here looking to partake :D

I’ve never done PbP before but I can’t imagine it’s terribly difficult. Looking forward to a good time and getting to know the people around here!

Glad to see a few more players, hopefully we can get this game going soon.

Darklink, I agree with your idea, thanks for suggesting it to Frost.  If others could look for groups that would be great, don’t worry about the conventional 5 player groups, this game, hopefully, wont be conventional. 

Also if you wish to go solo for a while to farther your own ventures that is not a problem, just know that the world has just become a lot darker and you may not live without at least a signal friend with you...or at least someone else who can watch your back.

To make it a bit easier for players I am going to list off some areas of larger interest later today so that people can ether start there or think of going there later to meet others. 

In your character background if you could add these to it to make it easier for me to introduce you to others as well as know what your character wants that would be great.

This can be before the spellplauge as well as after, having some forethought of what you character may be like after the devastation has happened.  But remember you are starting at the exact moment of the spellplauge so anything you may have wished to do after may get tossed around with other events that occur.

Hey Darklink, sorry just saw you posted about joining up with me.  I haven’t decided yet, but I am leaning towards Minotaur either Fighter or Paladin.

Is your kolbold going to be evil?  I was either going to be evil or unaligned leaning towards the evil side.  Not exactly sure where I was going to be, was thinking about being caught up in the Efreeti Wars in the Desert or some other shady place were I would be judged more on my ability than my monstrous nature.  I mean if i get judged too much by it I would probably use my axe to remove the offending feature of the other person.

If anyone is interested in joining up with a Dragonborn Ranger (good aligned goddess Meilikki) then I would be happy to work something out with them.  Should have him updated with the new AV stuff by friday I believe.

If you feel like starting near a hotzone of “OMG SKY IS FALLING” with me (Chondalwood), I’d be happy to meet up with you. Crafting my backstory tonight, I can send you relevant parts. Being a hotspot, it’d probably be pretty easy to merge your random showing up in the world (being dragonborn).

I got too far ahead with my public story post anyway, although you can see the general direction my character is planning on taking, at least up until landing in town.

Ha ha well after you send me the relevant stuff I’ll see.  I don’t know all my places yet (still need to continue my readings in the FR books) but it sounds good to me though

I could be tempted. The character I created comes from Myth Drannor, but he’s a bit of a wanderer so it wouldn’t be terribly difficult to justify his being in Chondalwood, especially if it’s a hot zone.

Hmm, missed the sun/moon elves thing, thought they were all considered to be from Abeir. Anyway, I’m in the middle of one of the sky tearing open territories and there are elves in that woods area I believe. I’ve traveled a couple miles to the northwest of my village (so northernish Chondalwood) to camp out. I was in the middle of setting up some practice targets with fallen timber and weeds when all hell broke loose around me. First jogging, then running back towards my village.

If anyone wanna tag with me and frost we gonna be a bunch of unalign that have some evil tendancy of monstruous races(kobold/minotaur). Our starting location is not yet decided, but we wont be some carebear elves or dragonborn

Well, I took a look.. and it looks interesting. I’m working up a character now so I’ll be joining in the fun.

Awesome, it looks like the game is going to be going off soon.  I am going to be out of town for most of Saturday and Sunday, but when I come back I will have a few cities that have things of interest going on in them.

So I think I am going to start the game once I have around 4 or so groups, so please find other groups (solo is fine as well) and message me that you are ready to go.  So far I only have a few characters actually submitted to me.
