Has anyone had the chance to look over some of the items in this thing?  Bracers of Infinity Blades (you can pull unlimited daggers from them that last until the end of your turn), Gloves of Storing (You can store one item in each glove up to 10 lbs, and summon them with a minor action each.)

I have just been skimming through reading ones that catch my eye but this book opens up TONS of possibilities for characters.  You can build them entirely differently by adding a few items to really bring out character builds.

I bought the Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide today too and I haven’t managed to put this down long enough to check that out grin

we flipped through it a number of times and love most of the items, however we were confused by this:

Earthstrider Boots, level 14, daily teleportation 5, need ‘solid ground’ to teleport over (does not allow you to cross pits, for example)
Fireburst Boots, level 14, daily teleportation 6, no restrictions on teleporting, PLUS burst 1, 2d8 fire damage.

how can these / why are these two be the same level?

PS - i too got a copy of the FR book and haven’t done more than skimmed the new character ‘classes’ in there…

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

the book looks awesome, that bracers of infinite blades got my attention too. soon players will start making builds and create item sets for certain builds, these items absolutely feeds most’s hunger =)
here is an example item set I made up in combo with bracers of infinite blades which is based on throwing knives and critical hits:
Arm: bracers of infinite blades

Hand: knife thrower’s gloves (draw a knife as past of attacking with a standard action)

Head: eagle eye goggles (bonus dmg on ranged basic attack rolls) cape of the mountebank (teleport 5 sq. when hit by a melee attack)

Ring: war ring (plus damage die when you score critical even additional plus when scored with an item which does not grant additional damage normally)

Waist: stalwart belt (gain temporary HP when you score critical hit)

Well, that’s just a set I made up with a little glance. share your thoughts if you happen to catch up some good combinations =)

Ha ha that is what I have been looking at, just cool little combinations that really go with character builds.  I was trying to add some things to my two-weapon ranger.  The gloves of holding seem like a cool idea, use two minor (your actual minor and a move action as a minor) actions to draw your blades and you still have your standard, so you could charge into battle grin

I just can’t wait to look up some more cool loot.  And I am going to check out my FR CG today so I can see what cool stuff they have in there :-
