About Healing Surge

my character is dying, i have second wind and no healing surge, cleric has no more healing spell/powers to heal me but he has a healing potion,

so what can my party do to bring me back to at least 1 hp?
let say it happen at the end of encounter.

1. Heal Skill to stablize you. And take a short rest so he can heal you again with a power.  Or wait till you take an extended rest.

2. Pour Potion down your throat.

thanks. so healing potion is useless when the drinker have no healing surge. :(

Regain Hit Points: When you are dying and receive
healing, you go to 0 hit points and then regain hit
points from the healing effect. If the healing effect
requires you to spend a healing surge but you have
none left, you are restored to 1 hit point.

So you can drink the potion and gain 1 hp
