I stopped playing about three months ago. My buddies are trying to get me to come back for this. It looks like I might be picking it up.
I really like the 10/25 man versions of all the raids. Coming from a small group of IRL where we totalled about 13 at our high point and are at about 7, a 10 man raid isn’t too hard to fill up.
Alot of the talents are making things a little more balanced pvp wise. I absolutely hate the way they do the Arena and BG gear now as there is very little a casual player can do to stay semi on par with hardcores. I don’t expect to have the top Raid gear or the top Arena gear but having a few pieces while on a pvp server helps surviviability.
The two new Arenas they put in so far look more fun and less pillar running.
I guess I will most likely be giving it a shot.
My main server now is Kilrogg and my secondary server is my old main of Eredar.
I like most of the change but i think titan grip is screwed but almost everything else talent wise is awesome. Balance for druids is awesome!
I also really like the 10/25 for all raid, same here we have a guild of RL friends and Families on Mug’Thul with my brothers and we got about 15 ppl but about 10-13 level 70 so it will be nice to do 10 men just with us. My brother and me use to be in a semi-hardcore raiding guild but it disbanded this summer so we got back to our old guild that we make a family/friend only guild.
Noraak - 70 BM Hunter(leveled MM then spent most of 70 as BM then went back to MM and am not trying out a quick little BM spec to see about the improvements)
Kohla - 70 Balance Druid(about a 50/50 time spent at 70 as balance or resto)
Burach - 70 Shaman(change too much to give it one spec)(still eredar)
Duraa - 70 Frost Mage
Those are my four seventies all leveled to 70 on Eredar(pvp) and then I xferred to Kilrogg(pve). Love the xfer as i was unaware that Kilrogg was BG9 or Bloodlust and the competiveness there is awesome.
I was in Whiskey Brigade on Eredar then I was in a casual Guild called Brute Horde on Kilrogg.
Most of my friends are still on Eredar so once they open up Death Knight to all realms I will probably rock one out real quick.
I am liking most of the changes I have seen so far, but I have only been back on for three days and only for about 5 hours total.
Is anyone getting the Collector’s Edition? I did on BC because I worked at BestBuy so I just went in early when we opened and bought 1. I don’t think I will for Wrath.
I pre-orded the special edition (I’m a collector) and will be at Best Buy to get my regular copy as well at midnight. On top of that I have taken the rest of the month (November 13th on) off from work to play the game.
StMalice - Warrior 70
Missmalice - Priest 70
Matioki - Rogue 70 (horde and don’t play much) Azshara server
Valnivek - Hunter 70
Barrington - Paladin 70

This is why I don’t play World of Warcraft.
Some of the changes do look cool, though. I’d love to tool around with a gnome death knight.

That is exactly the death knight I am going to make. I typically just play horde but I want a gnome warrior but don’t feel like leveling one all the way up to 70/80 but starting at 55 wouldn’t be so bad at all.
I am obsessed, however taking the nights off in there to run my D&D game. The sad part about that is, is WoW has become the new Magic: The Gathering. By this I’m refering to me being one of the only people to not have played magic, so when I would DM back in the mid-90s any ANY little break and a damn Magic game would break out.
Now… all but one of my players plays WoW, all on different servers. So naturally the beginning of the game for as much as 90 minutes has been nothing but WoW talk. It’s totally on my head as I’m the DM and it’s my house. The other player though sometimes fills in with hilarious banter. “Oh cool, can I roll initiative on Prince then?” “Am I getting XP for this.” “Screw it I’m fireballing the mob.”
What worse is my wife totally encourages my play and wants to know about my guilds raid progression and who got what. It’s like a sci-fi fantasy soap opera to her.
