You still technically can’t.

FAQ is NOT errata, and is overwritten whenever it comes into conflict with the rules, especially with the core rulebooks. It explicitly states in the monk description that a monk CANNOT TWF with his unarmed strike.

If you were referring to errata, which is basically a retroactive change in the text, then yes he could.

Where does it say it?  I just checked the SRD and it doesn’t say that at all.  In fact, the only mention of “off-hand” notes that a monk gets full strength damage on all unarmed strikes.

This means that a monk may even make unarmed strikes with her hands full. There is no such thing as an off-hand attack for a monk striking unarmed. A monk may thus apply her full Strength bonus on damage rolls for all her unarmed strikes.

Note that TWF attack penalties still apply, however.

EDIT: Note also that by RAW Biff’s post is wrong too.  Any unarmed strike counts as a primary hand with regards to Strength bonus to damage.  TWF only notes that there is a penalty to attack.  The Strength bonus to damage entry is overruled by the monk class entry.

A TWF monk gets strength bonus to damage for all unarmed attacks, at least by RAW.

Now remember eventually the penalty from furry goes away.

Yes, but the shame of being a furry lasts a lifetime…

Wanna know what’s more humiliating?  Lune has a furry in his f2f.  And it’s not me.

Yeah, Doom automatically qualifies for furry. Treehouse doesn’t. Simple as that.

I may be furry, but I am not A furry.

One of Lune’s friends likes to dress up like an anthropomorphic animal and have sex with other anthropomorphic animals.  Or at least, he’s not willing to deny that he does.

/agree with Mercutio.  I mean, on the rules.  RAW does not deny (and could be argued to support) flurrying with your fists and FAQ supports it.

Its true that I have a guy in my D&D group that can not confirm nor deny that he is a furry.  Its “Rafelore”.  Doombot: try asking him anything about himself sometime.  I bet I know what answers you will get.

Sorry about the derail.
My group has always allowed twf and flurry to work together. It just feels right. I guess I don’t have a more rules-specific explanation than that.

i believe that the mongoose players handbook states that monks start or are already assumed to have the 2 weapon fighting feat and ambidextrous. BUT only when using monk type weapons. there for the monk could use 2 sai’s in an attack with flurry of blows but not 2 daggers as these are 2 weapons they are spacifically trained to use in conjunction with their normal attack

...Monks are proficient with daggers…
They couldnt use 2 longswords, unless they are an elf.
Besides its just easier to not use weapons in a flurry with the right feats.
In addition you can furry with any character, just dont shave for a few weeks.
