Nope, it’s from Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker series.  The Frogstar was a place/thing that showed you just how infinitesimally small you really are in the cosmic scheme of things—drives you mad unless your as egotistical as Zaphod.

Anyway, what are your global handles?  Mine is @Frogstar it seems.

Issue 11 is in Open Beta.  I hope you guys like the Dual Blades and Willpower as much as I’ve enjoyed it in the closed beta.  The new power sets are f-ing awesome.  I have a 36 battleaxe/willpower tank that destroys everything.  I soloed mishes 4 levels above me as a tank and took almost zero damage.  Between Willpower and Health, the only limiting factor is endurance, and Stamina plus recovery nullifies that concern.

Dual blades is by far my favorite attack power.  Absolutely kicks (Gibbering Mouther Ate Your Word!).  The animations are cool and the sequential powers just destroy bad guys.  My 36 dual blade/willpower scrapper is so absolutely kickass that I need to roll one up on live servers as soon as I11 goes live.

Gonna have to check out dual blades.  I wanted to do that with Absense but it was available back then so I couldn’t.  I assume it is similar to katana? 

BTW, I will eventually be getting back into CoH but it is a time/money issue right now.  In other words I have been so busy with other stuff I don’t have enough time to spend in the game to justify the money being spent on it...let alone having more important things to spend the money on.  But sanity does carry a price so it may become a priority in short order. 

Haven’t looked at willpower yet.  As a name it doesn’t seem to attractive, but I will have to take a look.

Yes, but you also now have control over what weapons look like.  For dual blades as well as for every other weapon power set.  Mace can be a shovel, baseball bat, shillelagh, pipe wrench, etc.  It’s very cool.

The set basically combines SR, Regen, and Invuln, but it’s more detailed than that.

You know Merc, that if I were there I’d be playing with Fionn.  Looks like we’re not gonna get viable gaming internet anytime soon, which pisses me off to know end.  But, oh well.

Im liking the customization of the look of weapons, been thinking they should have been doing that a long time ago.

Me too, but there are some bugs right now that are annoying, like customization reverting back to the standard when zoning (but only for certain weapons).

Frogstar is the most totally evil place in the galaxy.

FYI - now that I have my new PC built and working decently I should be able to play more CoH.  Plus the fact that I didn’t sign up for recurring billing but somehow my account got reactivated on it’s own as I see the bill on my online banking.  So the game at least better be activated again. 

I have to finish with my mom’s PC when I get time for it.  And there are a couple RL issues that will take a bit of time.  And other online priorities as well like Ben’s PBP game that I’m trying to get going on too.  But for the most part things should be settling down some now.
