Or you could just go Ninja 10/Dread Pirate 10 and win at everything forever.

If you can make that a warforged zombie, then you will be a Ninja-Pirate-Robot-Zombie like Keith Baker talked about.

Now all we need are some Viking-Cowboys with Rocket-powered-Dinosaurs.

That shoot laser missles.

But yeah, andrewk’s right. Swordsage needs to wear light armor for wis to AC.
And I loved playing a ninja. Actually can be pretty strong if you take advantage of your skills and ghost step with a bit of intelligence and strategy!

Pay 0: Sacrifice Devastator, search your library for a card named Doombot. Put Doombot into play. You win the game.

No sane DM would EVER in there right mind let someone add twice there wisdom bonus to AC.
But I’ll tell my DM about it and we can both laugh hysterically.

There is that aspect to this, yes.  I’m glad none of my players tried this build before the light armor thing was pointed out.  Without that limitation, both were unnamed bonuses… so there was no rules reason they couldn’t stack.

You can dish out some really nice damage with this build, and won’t be completely screwed against creatures immune to sudden strike, and you’ve got some power for when you run out of ghost steps.

Good call.  As a group we’ve always been frustrated that entire classes are rendered next to useless by relatively common monsters.

That’s not true.  You even said it in your post - Wisdom bonus to AC.  It’s a wisdom bonus, therefore it is named and can’t stack with itself.  It would be like granting twice Dex to AC.

I wish for everyone out there to know… I hate myself, Ive been coming close to first for years in initiative and haven’t even remember that the first person out catches everyone else flat footed…

Thats interesting of linklegacy to say, I really might like to play that some day. and yes… that is in fact a lot of pain....

First off, ninja class is like any other, it has its ups and downs. Yes it has sneak attack yet only when the opponent is flat-footed. I myself play a ninja in a campaign and have no problems finding opponents flat-footed.
My build includes Ninja 10, Master Thrower 5, Invisible Blade 5

Besides all the prereq feats for the PrCs I also took Flick of the Wrist, Between the Legs (not sure on the name, but it makes a successful tumble through opponents space cause them to be flat-footed) Maneuvers from Invisible Blade and and Master Thrower cause your opponent to be flat-footed from either a Sleight of Hand check, or Bluff Check. With a +30 to my Sleight of Hand I have not yet met an opponent that could me with their Spot Check. With a decent Wisdom I have more than enough Ki reserve to not take Expanded Ki Pool and still sneak attack every single round whether it be at range or in melee.

My character makes use of daggers as his weapon of choice. Far Shot in this build is a must, having your full attack bonus from 20 feet away comes in nice against those fighters that deal massive damage. Depending on the type of encounters the DM likes to include you may only find yourself with a handful of full attack actions in a single combat, so having the ability to sneak attack without use of your Ki pool makes your attack selection much more varied.

Do not provoke me to violence. You could no more evade my wrath than you could your own shadow.
