Charging forward over the uneaven ground Corrin swings wildly at the front hobgoblin. Unfortunately his swing as as hasty as his charge was and he missed.
[OOC: Corrin moves, attacks 9+6=15 misses. marks Warcaster.]
"Lets see if we can’t clear a hole here.”
OOC: Kathra moves to K4 if possible without attacks of opportunity and attacks the archer with the encounter power Passing attack (+6 vs AC for 1d10+5 and using secondary attack of +8 vs AC for 1d10+5 against soldier #2). Will follow with the use of an action point and use of Cleave on the archer for +6 vs AC for 1d10+5 and 3 damage to soldier #2.
As Karthas moves to attack she slices deeply into the archer, making a follow up attack on the soldier, unfortunately that swing goes wide. Showing truly heroic resolve she makes yet another attack on the archer, alas to no avail as he skitters out of the way.
The Warcaster barks an order and the two heavily armored soldiers immediately move to protect their more lightly armored comrade, switching positions one of them manages to land a solid blow. The archer continues to back up and releases a shaft at Kartha as well, while the warcaster, under the influence of Corrin, breaks with his own commands to attack the halfling, leveling a searing bolt of energy at the paladin and knocking him backwards.
Meanwhile Riardon looses a shaft at the warcaster, only to have it knocked wide by some of the intervening trees.

Skamos silently curses himself for his slow reaction as the creatures had been in much better position just a moment before. Taking out that caster should be our top priority… but if we take out the others quickly enough, he’ll have nowhere to hide, either.
Nodding to himself, Skamos tightens the grip on his wand of accuracy, adjusts his position and shoots an orb of magical force at the hobgoblin in the middle. Immediately, razor-sharp shards of force split off and assault the other hobgoblin and the archer.
[OOC: I assumed that he has the wand in hand. Move down three squares then shoot a force orb at hobgoblin 2 with the use of the wand of accuracy (+7 vs. Reflex, 2d8+5 damage); secondary targets: hobgoblin 1 (+5 vs. Reflex, 1d10+5 damage) and archer (+5 vs. Reflex, 1d10+5 damage).]
Erias comes around the corner, to where the Hobgoblin’s caster is in sight. “Let’s provide some separation here, shall we?” He calls upon Amaunator to drive the Warcaster away from the battle.
NW, N to I9. Cause Fear on the Warcaster. Healing Word on Kartha.
Rushing into the path Erais bellows, “Cower in the light of Amaunator.” as he wills the warcaster to flee. Alas the warcaster is made of stronger stuff than Erais thought and stands his ground. Erais then heals Kartha.
[OOC: Corrin, moves, fear 4+4=8 fail, heals Kartha for 8+8=16.]
As Kartha strikes deep into one of the soldiers, the warcaster grabs his head, points to Corrin and barks an order to the others, who follow it with military percision.
Swinging wildly the soldiers both miss, as does the archer, but the warcaster manages to blast Corrin with an orb of force strong enough to put him out of the fight!
[OOC: Kartha, attack 19+8=27 hits, 4+5=9 damage to HS1, 3 to HS2.
Soldier1: attacks, 3+7=10 miss
Soldier2: attacks 10+7=17 miss
Archer: moves, 3+9=12 miss
Caster:moves, 16+8=23 hit 9+3+4=16 damage, corrin unconcious]
"Corrin! We have to help Corrin!” Riardon shouts as he moves closer for a better shot. He sizes up the injured hobgoblins and decides to go for the weaker of the two. “Time to cull the herd.” He carefully aims his bow and releases his shot.
(OOC: move s,sw,s,sw and careful attack on hobgoblin 2, +10 vs AC, 1d10)
