Skamos glances over to Riardon and nods. Corrin’s in danger... Squinting, the tiefling thinks shortly on how to best proceed.
[Posting now due to me (maybe) being offline later:
Move three steps to the left and try to be behind ‘something’ so that the warcaster does not have easy view of him. Standard action for ghost sound for quiet jingling of mail and swords in the forest to the left of the hobgoblins (somewhere around four squares left of the warcaster) + mage hand to tap the warcaster on the back as if something’s brushed him.]
Riardon moves into position and finds the perfect opening to bury an arrow deep ito on eof the hobgoblin soldiers, hurting him badly, but not enough to drop him.
Meanwhile Skamos decides to try and sow some confusion in the ranks and cast Mage Hand and ghost sound. Alas it is to no avail as the warcast is too involved in the battle to give him much thought.
[OOC: Riardon moves, attack 20+10=30 CRIT, HIT, 10 damage!
Skamos moves casts Ghost sound 9+1=10 vs will fails, and mage hand 14+2=16 vs Ref, hits. Hobgoblin rolls a Wis vs Skamos Chr to see if he understands what is happening 1+3=4 vs 20+1=21, the hobgoblin is oblivious as to who is doing what.]
Erais sees Corrin’s dire situation, and calls upon Amaunator to bring him healing, restoring him to the battle. At the same time, he launches forth a blast of radiance, intent on bringing down the badly wounded hobgoblin soldier.
Healing Word on Corrin, Sacred Flame (+4 vs Will) on Hobgoblin Warrior #2 (1d6+4 radiant damage, 2 temp. hp to Corrin if successful).
As the battle progresses, Kartha steps between The caster and the remaining soldier and swings, savagely striking both of the humanoids.
In response the soldier spins to attack Kartha, but misses, the same as the archer misses Corrin. The Warcaster, however, steps to the side and releases a devistating spell that injures everyone in its blast and kncks them all back and to the ground. As Corrin, Riar, Skamos, and Erais pick themselves up they realize that they might have downed one of the soldiers, but this fight is not over yet.
[OOC: Kartha, moves 1 NW, Attacks HS1 with cleave, 14+6=20, hit 5+5=19 damage, 3 damage to caster.
Soldier 1 attacks Kartha 5+7=12 misses
Archer: Attacks Corrin, 1+7-2=6 miss
Warcastermoves, Kartha 3+6=9 vs AC miss, casts Force Pulse (AoE), 18+7=25 vs Ref hits Corrin , 15+7=22 hits Erias ,17+7=24 hits Riardon , and 15+7=22 hits Skamos all take 5+8+4=17]
"The Light of Amaunator burn thee, hobgoblin!” Erias takes a step towards the caster, drawing upon his faith to smite the warcaster in hopes of bringing it down.
5’ shift west. Lance of Faith WITH Power of Amaunator (+4 vs Reflex, 1d8+4+1d10 damage, +2 power bonus to Corrin for his next attack (if applicable) against the Warcaster.
As Riardon takes careful aim on the hobgoblin warcaster and hits with an arrow, Skamos tries a different tactic and runs for cover as he catches his breath.
[OOC:Riardon: Moves 1 square to teh right, marks warcaster, 16+10=26 hits 9+4=13 damage
Skamos: Moves, 2nd wind, healed 5]
Tira sighs. “I really should try to learn that trick, putting everyone on their butts like that. I spose this is getting a bit out of hand though”
[OOC: Witchfire on warcaster: +4 vs reflex, 2d6+4 fire damage, -4 to his attack rolls until end of my next turn. Spend action point (assuming you don’t have to “win” an encounter for it to count as one of the two). Eldritch blast on warcaster: +4 vs reflex, 1d10+4 damage.]
Wincing from the effects of yet another attack which knocks him from his feet, Corrin takes a moment to catch his breath before shifting around to distract the remaining soldier while Kathra presses home her attack.
[OOC: Standard action: Second wind to regain 6 hp and +2 AC.
