JK, do you hold licenses for this?  Patents and whatnot.  If not I would suggest jumping right on top of that asap.  Especially if you wanna market it.

...and if you need someone to go to a con for you to sell it, I’m in the market for a job. wink

The Open Gaming License Covers 99.99% of everything having to do with the RPG end of things: I’m covered there where I need to be covered. About all I’d need to do if d20 Advanced became really successful and called for a big line of products would be to trademark the logo and trade dress more officially (right now I just have it noted as non-open gaming content in the credits page).

And depending on where we are with the book, we might be able to work something out, Lune.

Quick note: the offer for a discounted copy of d20 Advanced expires this Friday, May 2, at 11:59 PM EST. If your payment isn’t received by then, you’ll have to wait for the copies to go up in online stores.

Just out of curiosity, when will that be?

End of May, assuming no hold-ups.

Is there going to be a hardcopy of this sold or only digital?

Again, if the initial digital version is successful, I hope to get a Print-on-Demand feature, and then possibly a full-on dead-tree version.

If you do go to printing, I’ll mention it to the owner of my local comic shop. He probably wouldn’t take a chance on more than a half dozen, but I have little doubt that he would buy that much.

Thanks, LeadPal. I’d pitch them to my local gaming store but the ones I knew and loved are dead and gone these days.

In response to the questions about a potential dead-tree version of d20 Advanced, there’s some potential news a’brewin’ on the d20 Advanced Homepage.
