Charity at Giant In the Playground posted pics of the character pre-gens from Keep on the Shadowfell. I pasted the photos into Powerpoint because Photobucket is blocked at my work.
So, I went to ENWorld to find out if there was an major flame war over the latest preview and stumbled across some character sheets from the first adventure (Keep on the Shadowfell). Here is a link to this forums that they are posted at: Keep on the Shadowfell Preview Characters.
You beat me to it by a minute Cameron. I posted this in the weekly preview thread. Maybe you could move that post here? For some reason, your version seems to be slightly cramped though. It would be a lot easier to look at these as one document, but it is almost as if they were rectangular and are now square in your document and therefore squished.
Yeah, I see that now. When I made the ppt the slides were portrait, but uploading them to Google seems to have shifted the orientation back to landscape. I’ll fix this when I get home. I’m limited in ability here at work. I will try to print to PDF doc format and keep the real aspect ratio then.
No rush, it’s just something I thought you should know.
I regard to the topic, these sheets give level up stats to 2nd and 3rd level for all 5 of the characters available. Between this and everything in the PHB-lite, people could actually be playing a limited version of the game now. I wish that I could convince my group to play before we get the books. They refuse to look at the 4e stuff until then saying that they don’t want to be teased.
The dragonborn has a dragon breath encoun ter power that has a selection of different types of damage (acid, cold, fire, electricity,..etc) That seems cool for that guy and lame for anybody elese who doesn’t have such a cool racial ability. The halfling get to reroll a single die and the dragondude get to breathe whatever he feels will damage the most…
the dragondude get to breathe whatever he feels will damage the most…
That may be the case… but it’s possible the dragondude may have to specify what kind of dragon he is “kin” to. And that may determine what kind of dragon breath he is limited to.
From the fluff text on the dragonborn character sheet: “ The deadly power of your draconic kin blasts forth to engulf your foes”.
